Accessories can be added to all AVS alarms and some will come standard with each model.
The AVS reversing sensor kit includes 4 x advanced ultrasonic sensors which are mounted in the rear bumper of your car.
The sensors will begin to detect obstacles from within 2.5 metres of the rear of vehicle and transmit the information to the visual display which is mounted in the vehicle. The visual display shows both the distance and direction of the obstacle behind you while from 1.5 metres an audible warning tone also begins. This tone escalates as you get closer to the obstacle.
Your vehicle will need to quoted on an individual basis so talk to your AVS dealer today.
Normal sensors like shock sensors will NOT protect the wheels so a tilt sensor is an essential upgrade if you have mags.
The AVS digital tilt sensor will also trigger the alarm if your car is lifted by a tow truck. The AVS digital tilt sensor sets itself to the angle you are parked on when you arm the alarm. If the car is tilted in ANY direction from one degree it triggers the alarm. The sensor is fully digital and contains extensive anti-falsing circuitory.
Triggers the alarm if the sound of breaking glass is detected.
See our GPS Tracking page.
Single and dual zone available. The single zone triggers the alarm if body mass movement is detected inside the car eg. someone entering the car through an open window. The dual zone will also trigger a warning if movement is detected close to the car. This sensor is used on convertibles or where car windows are left open while the alarm is armed.
If your car has a factory remote by adding the AVS OEM Enhancement module you can control your AVS alarm via the factory remote. This means the alarm will arm/disarm when you lock/unlock via the factory remote. It will also work the boot pop feature if this is included on your factory remote. A great option if you do not want to have something else on the keyring! The AVS OEM Enhancement module will work with most cars (including many new imports and European models) and is available as an upgrade on all AVS alarms except the AVS 3010. It is advisable to have it installed at the same time as your AVS alarm. Please check with your AVS dealer or contact us to check compatibility with your car.
The AVS RXPRO receiver has a number of different functions:
Control other devices via your AVS remote with the addition of the AVS RXPRO receiver. Currently this is available with the AVS A4 remote (this remote also be used to operate the AVS S-Series and AVS 9000 alarms).
The RXPRO can also be used to add wireless sensors to any AVS alarm. This includes:
Another great feature is the ability to control up to 4 channels by using the RXPRO’s 4-button remote (included). This allows you to add wireless remote control to air bag or hydro suspension (front/rear up and down) or remote door pop on all four doors. Perfect for that bagged and shaved ride!
It is available as an upgrade on all AVS alarms except the AVS 3010. Note: the AVS 9000 can have wireless sensors added without the need to add the AVS RXPRO receiver.
